Healthy Lungs for Life is a global public awareness campaign. It raises awareness of the importance of lung health through a series of events, projects and promotional activities. Our mission is to help increase understanding of why lung health is important and the action needed to ensure good lung health for all. You will be asked to make a donation to the Lung Health Foundation for the full amount of services agreed during the initial consultation.

The concept behind this initiative is to develop a long-term health awareness campaign that targets not only those already affected by lung disease, in order to improve their quality of life, but also those who may be affected in the future. In the midst of the new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-1) it is important to take control of one's own lung health. The "Healthy Lungs for Life" campaign is led by the European Lung Foundation (ELF) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). There will also be public service announcements and social media in areas with the highest lung health problems.

Your participating legal professional will forward the donation directly to the Lung Health Foundation on your behalf. Figures from the latest edition of the European Lung White Paper give the startling message that one in eight Europeans now die from lung disease. Find out how exercise benefits the lungs, both for people with and without lung disease, and top tips for staying active. However, the nature of lung disease is set to change from a situation where the largest proportion of deaths are from infectious lung diseases to a situation where people are living with long-term conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Thousands of us have come together to change the law, raise awareness and make sure lung health is a priority across the UK.
