The mission of The Lung Center is to provide an online information portal for the community and the medical fraternity, to promote wellness, to relieve suffering, and to restore health as swiftly, safely, and humanely as it can be done, consistent with the best service we can give at the highest value for all concerned.

 About Us

This site "The Lung Center" has been started as a first of its kind initiative in India with regards to the field of Pulmonary Medicine. This site is a public- private mix, trying to encompass the best of both.

This site is a brain child of

The lung center is a federation of Interdepartment practices that share common interest in the respiratory system.

Currently, the following divisions, in collaboration form the core of this site

1. Pulmonary and Critical Care Division
2. Sleep Medicine Division
3. Thoracic Surgery Division
4. Lung Pathology Division
5. Chest Radiology Division
6. Cardiac Division

The site is dedicated not only in providing information which would be useful to the patients but also latest news and research which can help doctors to better their decision.

We at  The Lung Center have also tried to provide for post-graduates who are trying to encompass the length and breadth of this ever expanding field.

Each page of the site has been divided into various sections, currently some of them are still under construction. We thank you for your patience and look forward to your comments.

Who We Are

The lung center is a non profit organization.

The lung Center does not exist as a physical entity per se.

The members here at the lung center are busy professionals in their fields who are interested or associated with Pulmonary Medicine.

They spare out their valuable time, and come together from time to time to address relevant issues pertaining to particular patient, specific disease or medical issues.
